 SAIF ZONE leverages business opportunities at Turkey Build


​Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, represented by Wafa Balaswad, Marketing Manager and Boutheina Manai, Integrated Marketing Communications Officer, participated at Turkey Build 2014 held in Istanbul, Turkey from 6th to 10th May.

At this biggest inter-regional building gathering that spans Turkey, Balkans, former CIS countries, North Africa and Middle East, SAIF ZONE showcased the potential of investing in the Free Zone which serves as an ideal gateway for a $150 billion market. SAIF ZONE highlighted the numerous investment opportunities in construction and allied sectors in the Gulf region to the 1,150 exhibitors and more than 150,000 visitors from Turkey and European countries.

According to Wafa Balaswad, "Turkey Build served as a fitting platform to leverage business opportunities and showcase SAIF ZONE's credentials as a facilitator of foreign direct investment into the UAE. With high-profile personalities, decision makers, trade missions and key government officials attending the event, it provided positive exposure to the Free Zone that supports its long-term business development objectives."

SAIF ZONE delegates also highlighted the importance of Sharjah as an ideal business destination for investors due to its strategic location, accessibility to seaports and international airports with excellent infrastructural facilities and other competitive advantages such as convenient free zone rules and regulations through a single window service system.
