Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE) participated in this event which enabled its delegates to generate new business leads and place the Free Zone at the forefront of the industry.

"The event served as an unparalleled opportunity to showcase Sharjah's centralized geographic location between Europe and the Far East, which makes it an ideal logistics base," said Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF ZONE, who headed the delegation. Accompanying him was Raed BuKhatir, Deputy Commercial Director and Boutheina Manai, Integrated Marketing Communications Officer.

"Sharjah is the third fastest growing economy in the UAE and with an eye to encourage foreign direct investment, the emirate offers significant cost advantages including competitive import duties and financing costs, low energy and real estate costs, high levels of liquidity, a tax-free environment with 100 per cent repatriation of capital and profits," he added. "All of these combine to create an enticing and highly persuasive investment environment."
