Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE) successfully reached out to the food & hospitality business through its participation in Gulfood 2016, the top trade event in the sector and which concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on February 25.

"The region's F&B manufacturing industry continues to grow at a fast pace and we are looking forward to receiving more investors in the F&B sector. We aim to attract international companies in the F&B sector to the SAIF ZONE," said Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF ZONE and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA).

"SAIF ZONE is the best platform to serve the region's developing food processing and manufacturing sphere. Our world-class facilities and services allow companies to do business with greatest ease," he added. SAIF ZONE is currently home to 7,000 companies from 150 countries. It has seen a significant increase in the demand for food and beverages facilities in recent times due to its high quality custom-built storage and manufacturing infrastructure solutions.

"Our team successfully connected with investors, suppliers, distributors and manufacturers and highlighted Sharjah's strategic role as a key global food industry trading hub during the event. It is our strategy to engage with local and international companies and enterprises and introduce them to the benefits of working in the Sharjah free zones," Al Mazrouei concluded.

SAIF ZONE had a permanent information booth at DTWC and the marketing team received several queries from international industry-related businesses.
