SAIF-Zone Departments

The operations in SAIF-Zone are handled by various departments. These ensure smooth handling of paperwork and documentation required to set up a business within its premises.

  • Marketing & Sales Department is the first point of contact for the potential investor providing him with all the necessary information about the SAIF-Zone and its various operations. It accepts project outlines, documents, prepares approval letters etc.

    • Customer Care Handles investor complaints, registering the complaints, coordinating with other departments to ensure a solution can be attained within 24 hours.

  • Human Resource Department handles the recruitment of personnel and their welfare, training and monitoring of performances besides resource planning.

  • Administrative Department organises personalised answering services, office boy services, binding, typing correspondence etc.

  • Finance and Accounts Department prepare invoices and receive payments made by investors for various services rendered to them.

  • Purchasing Department facilitates all types of supplies and supports investors with all their buying needs.

  • Client & Investor Services Department handles all formalities with respect to immigration. These include visas viz., employment, residence, and others. It also handles visa renewals and extensions, cancellations and transfer. It issues ID's and entry passes. Administrative services (provision of standard letter, salary certificate, NOCs', attestation of passports, ban letters) and chamber of commerce services (chamber of commerce certificate, certificate of origin) are also undertaken.

  • Engineering Department provides colour drawings, soil survey reports, building permits, power connections, signboard, water connections etc.

    • Health Safety and Environment Department Provides incinerator services, export health certificate, food analysis certificate etc.

    • Cargo, Operations and Maintenance Dept provides all equipment and provision of labour services.

  • Lease & Licensing Dept issues the Ownership certificates, licenses and amendments to them, standard letters/certificates.

  • Legal Dept does attestation of documents and contracts/agreements.

  • Security Department issues entry passes, vehicle entry passes and private security services for varying lengths of time.
