Nabeel Perfumes Group of Companies, a major brand in the wonderful world of fragrances particularly in the Middle East, joined hands with Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE) in a blood donation campaign on April 17th 2014.

More than 50+ donors representing members of companies operating within SAIF ZONE joined the six hour blood donation drive held outside Nabeel's headquarters in the Free Zone. The campaign was inaugurated by Mustafa Adam Ali, Managing Director of Nabeel Perfumes Group of companies, in the presence of senior officials of the SAIF ZONE administration.

Commenting on the blood donation drive, Talal Al Midfa, Director of Human Recourses & Administration department, SAIF ZONE, said, "As a responsible organization, SAIF ZONE believes in taking a leading role in the welfare of its society. It is a well-acknowledged fact that by donating blood, many lives are saved. The entire community benefits from such a spirit of generosity. I congratulate Nabeel Perfumes on taking the initiative for organizing this noble initiative and am very proud of their efforts in donating blood and encouraging more people to do the same."

Speaking on the occasion, Mustafa Adam Ali, Managing Director of Nabeel Perfumes, said, "We, as part of the society, believe in giving back in some way or the other. We have a strong built-in CSR culture within our organization that differentiates us from many others."

The group has set up a special taskforce of dedicated staff under their newly formed CSR wing, N.E.S.T - 'Nabeel Educational and Social Service Taskforce' and the blood donation drive is one of their new initiatives. The latest blood donation camp is part of its annual CSR activities schedule that will see the organization of at least two such events in Dubai and Sharjah.

The move comes two weeks after Nabeel Perfumes won the Sharjah Economic Excellence Award - Silver under Large Companies Category. The win is a fitting recognition to the company's long heritage of quality products and services that has created a loyal customer base across the world. The recognition also comes at a very crucial time when the company has re-energized its management to double its retail footprint across the UAE and GCC to accelerate its steadily growing market share.

According to Asghar Adam Ali, Founder and Chairman of Nabeel Perfumes, "For the last 45 years, Nabeel has been developing a strong legacy of quality products and services with a growing loyal customer base. The Sharjah Economic Excellence Awards is a strong endorsement of the good work put up by the team."

Nabeel Perfumes was founded in 1969 by Asghar Adam Ali (Al Attar), an aficionado of quality perfumery who combined creative packaging with stringent quality measures to develop it into a major brand of fragrances with a focus on value for money.

Nabeel, which means 'noble, opened its first manufacturing plant in Yemen and in 1992, built a second factory of 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space in the industrial area of Sharjah where it now manufactures oriental perfumes in the form of bakhoors (Arabic incense), oils and sprays.

A new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, spread over an area of 80,000 square feet was later opened at SAIF ZONE which includes a massive production unit, R&D facilities, storage and workshop space, a fragrance preparation room equipped with 20 maceration tanks and chilling units, filtering units and silk screen printing workshop with self-operating pads.

Here, medium and high range occidental perfumes are created which cater to the Indian, African, East European and North & South American markets. The perfect synchronization of the preparation, production, storage and logistics, and a total production capacity of 19.7 million bottles annually, has given Nabeel Perfumes a significant edge over its competitors.
